What is personal data?

Access to the website of the WSC NWM

This data is automatically deleted after 90 days and is used exclusively to defend against possible attacks by hackers on the system and for error analysis.

The IP address of the accessing computer (network)
The date and time of the server query
The status code search terms entered in the search form
The retrieved document/page
Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to improve our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
Dealing with personal data
We only collect personal data if we are legally permitted to do so or if we have the consent of the user. The legal basis for the data processing of the Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft Nordwestmecklenburg mbH as project executing agency of the WSC NWM are the DSGVO, the DSG M-V as well as data protection regulations in the special laws. We attach particular importance to compliance with the principles of the DSGVO, in particular "data avoidance and data economy", "purpose limitation" and "transparency".

In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit b) DSGVO. The deletion of the data takes place when no longer necessary. The statutory storage obligations shall apply.
In order to improve our offer and to estimate the reach of our website, we are interested in an anonymous analysis of website usage. For this reason we use the open source web analysis Matomo to create access statistics. This software is also hosted and maintained by brain-SCC GmbH and complies with the aforementioned data protection criteria. No external web analytics provider has access to this data. The Matomo application is operated in such a way that the IP address is anonymized before storage. Likewise, no cookies are stored beyond the session for the recognition of visitors. After closing the browser window, these are automatically removed from your computer.

Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites we embed Youtube videos. Operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can personally assign your surfing behavior to you. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.
